Mindfulness is the ability to keep constant awareness of our thoughts, our emotions, our bodily sensations and what is happening around us in the present moment.

What is Mindful Walking?

Mindful Walking is an active meditation, which consists of walking conscious of each step, each breath, or any sensation brought by our bodily sensations.

A mi pareja Sandra y a mí, nos encantó meditar caminando. Considero que es muy importante ser consciente en todo momento de lo que uno es física, mental y espiritualmente. De donde está en todo momento en el tiempo y en el lugar. Y gracias a Luis púde experimentar esa sensación voluntaria y enriquecedora en un paraje natural maravilloso. Uma experiência que recomendo a todos. Dado ao confiamento participei na caminhada online e foi como se tivessemos todos juntos! Ho partecipato ad una bellissima Mindful Walk online sotto la guida di Luis, una persona meravigliosa che con le sue competenze è riuscito a trasportarmi dalla mia piccola isola ( Sardegna) in un viaggio mentale intenso e sereno nella pace della mia mente, dimostrandomi che con semplicità ci si può connettere con il mondo intero ma soprattutto con se stessi.

Fiz a minha primeira caminhada mindful online com o Luís. Pensei que pudesse ser um pouco estranho pelo facto de estarmos todos online, mas rapidamente senti que de facto estava a caminhar acompanhada e que o espaço era seguro. Gostei imenso da sequência e da estrutura que o Luís apresentou, começando por várias meditações diferentes até chegar ao ponto para o qual nos propúnhamos: as intenções para um novo ano. Nota-se o investimento que o Luís colocou nesta experiência, para que não faltasse nada. Confesso que para além de ter sido muito agradável superou as minhas expectativas! Grata pela experiência!

I have participated in the online #mindfulwalkingtour (while based in London) that had the objective to #setintentionsforthenewyear 2021, and I find it to be a fantastic initiative from a humble & wonderful person who has experience in meditation/mindfulness and brings the "inner journey" to an innovative level by organizing walks which could easily be attended from anywhere in the World. The experience was enriching and has greatly contributed to my goal setting for this year, which I am very grateful for and would definitely recommend it to anybody interested in slowing down, spending time in the present moment and accessing their inner wisdom to gain clarity/peace.

When I go to an event of Mindful Walking tours I always come back home with a a full heart and a deep sense of gratitude. I feel that it gives me the possibility to come back to inner peace and joy, to reconnect with myself and what surrounds me, no matter the environment and the situation I am in, and to connect with others, to feel that we are all differents, yet all related. Give it a try, definitely worth it!
